Organise PDF
Extract PDF pages
Extract PDF pages and ranges into a new file in the order you choose.
Choose a file
Choose one PDF, then enter pages such as 1-3, 7, 10.
Keep selected pages in a new PDF
Enter the pages you need and save them together. The selection can follow the original order or put the pages in a different sequence.
Enter page positions and ranges
Use a list such as 2, 5-9, 14 to combine single pages and ranges. These are page positions in the source, not numbers printed in a header or footer.
The order you enter is retained. For example, 8, 1-2 puts page 8 first, followed by pages 1 and 2. If a page is listed more than once, it is included only once. Page numbers outside the source are not accepted.
Check the shorter document’s navigation
Page labels are rebuilt for the selection. Bookmarks and links can remain when their destinations are included; references to pages left behind are removed.
Open the extract in another reader and check its order, labels and any navigation the recipient needs. An extract may start part-way through a section, so make sure it includes enough context.
Review what the selected pages disclose
Extracting one contract section or a few statement pages reduces what you send, but it does not redact information on those pages. Check headers, footers, attachments and surrounding text for anything that should not be shared.
The full source stays unchanged. Use Remove pages when the list of unwanted pages is shorter, or Split PDF when every page needs its own file.
Questions
How are selected pages entered?
Enter individual pages or ranges such as 1-3, 7, 10. The selected pages become a new PDF, and the source remains unchanged.
How is the extracted page order set?
Enter pages in the required order, such as 5, 1-3.
What happens to the source PDF?
The source PDF remains unchanged; extraction creates a separate file.
Can I include the same page more than once?
Extraction includes each page only once, even if it appears again in your list. Use Organise PDF to duplicate a page.
