Your files

Web tools process selected files in your browser. Rebuildfree does not upload the file, filename, contents or extracted text. The result is created on your device.

The editor can keep a recovery draft in this browser after a refresh or tab closure. Close the document in the editor, discard the saved draft or clear this site's browser data to remove it. Downloads remain where you saved them.

OCR language files

The OCR engine and common language files are served from Rebuildfree. If you choose a language that is not bundled with the website, your browser downloads that Tesseract language file from jsDelivr. The selected document is not included in that request.

jsDelivr may receive the requested language code and ordinary network information such as an IP address and browser details. The language file may then be cached by your browser for later use.

Language preference

A necessary language-preference cookie remembers which language you chose. It is not used for analytics or advertising.

Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics measures page visits and tool use. Outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland it runs by default. In those regions the tag loads with storage denied and may send cookieless pings before a choice; analytics cookies are used only after consent.

It does not receive your documents, file names, file contents, extracted text or results. Tool events carry a fixed tool name and, where useful, a result count; Google may receive ordinary network information such as an IP address.

You can switch measurement off at any time with Analytics choices in the footer. Turning it off stops further tool events on this page and clears Google Analytics cookies for this domain.

Review analytics choice

Google AdSense code is included on eligible tool pages, individual guides, the tools directory, About, Help, the English documents directory and English template pages. It is absent from the PDF editor, Compare PDF and guides directories. Google decides which ads appear on these pages and when. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site or other sites on the Internet. Ad requests never include your documents, file names, extracted text or results. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies for personalised advertising at AboutAds or, in Europe, Your Online Choices.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, advertising and analytics storage starts denied. Google may still load consent-mode tags without those cookies. If Google shows its consent message, it asks before using storage. Where Google shows its privacy and cookie settings link on an ad page, you can use it to change that choice.

Contact messages

When you send the contact form, your name, reply email, selected topic, message, language and the page address are sent to FormSubmit so it can deliver the message to Ertu Muslu.

Use the form only for support and general questions. Do not include passwords, payment details, confidential documents or sensitive personal information. Rebuildfree uses the message and reply address to respond to your request. Read the FormSubmit privacy policy.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. It may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested path and security events. Document contents are not included in those requests.

Why this information is used

The legal basis depends on the feature and the law that applies:

• Browser document processing happens on your device, so Rebuildfree does not receive the selected document.
• The language cookie and security requests are used where necessary to provide and protect the service, and for Rebuildfree's legitimate interest in running a reliable website.
• Contact details are used to answer your request; limited records may be used to meet legal obligations or handle fraud and disputes.
• Advertising and analytics cookies rely on your consent where the law requires it, including in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. Other ad delivery, fraud prevention and basic measurement rely on the legitimate interest in funding and maintaining a free website.

How long information is kept

Rebuildfree keeps information only for the purpose described or where a legal, security or dispute reason requires it:

• Moving a file between tools temporarily stores a copy in this browser. The transfer is valid for ten minutes and is deleted when the destination tool takes the file. An unused copy can remain until an expired transfer is checked on a later tool visit or until you clear this site's browser data. Rebuildfree keeps no server copy.
• The language cookie lasts up to 12 months. Your analytics choice remains in this browser until you change it or clear browser storage.
• If enabled, advertising and analytics cookies are set and kept by Google for the periods in its own policies. You can delete them in your browser at any time. Rebuildfree does not keep first-party usage counters or repeat-visitor identifiers.
• Contact messages are kept while the request and reasonable follow-up are handled. Service providers may keep security, delivery or legal records under their own published policies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. You can change analytics with the Analytics choices button in the footer.

Email the address above to make a privacy request. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live. Rebuildfree may need enough information to verify a request before acting on it.

Service providers and international transfers

Cloudflare, Google, FormSubmit and jsDelivr may process ordinary service information in countries outside your own. Their published privacy notices describe the locations and safeguards they use. Rebuildfree does not send selected document files or extracted document text to these providers.
