Make one PDF for each page

Split a PDF into numbered single-page files. Use this when each page is a separate record, such as an invoice, receipt or certificate.

Check where each record starts and ends

Split creates one file per page, not one file per invoice or chapter. If a record spans several pages, use Extract pages to keep those pages together instead.

One source can contain up to 250 pages. Each output filename includes its original page position, so you can match the single-page files back to the source.

Expect some navigation to be removed

Bookmarks, links and form structures that depend on pages outside a single-page output cannot be kept as working references. The tool removes those references.

Navigation within the retained page can remain. Open a sample output and test any link, annotation or form field you need before distributing the files.

Match each file to its recipient

Every output is checked before download, and the original PDF is unchanged. Check the file count and the first and last pages, then confirm that each record belongs to the person receiving it.

A page number in the filename refers to its position in the source, which may differ from a number printed on the page. Rename copies if useful, but keep a way to identify their source.

Questions
What does Split PDF create?

It creates one numbered PDF for each source page and leaves the original document unchanged.

Does copied page content remain selectable?

Supported text stays selectable because each page remains a PDF page instead of being converted to an image.

How can I keep a page range together?

Use Extract PDF pages to save a selected range or page order in one PDF.

Which PDFs cannot be split?

Check that the file is a valid, unlocked PDF. Long documents may need more memory than some phones can provide.
