Review a Word document before saving PDF
Open a DOCX in the editor, check its pages and save a PDF. The browser’s DOCX import may differ from the layout shown in your word processor.
Inspect the imported pages
Text, pictures and supported shapes open on fixed pages in the editor. Check line breaks, page breaks, fonts and picture placement before making changes or exporting.
Import warnings identify content that needs attention. Complex floating objects, nested tables, tracked changes, charts and application-specific effects may be simplified or unsupported.
Make corrections before export
Select supported text to change it, move pictures or shapes, and add a signature, highlight, note or drawing. You can also organise pages and add supported PDF form fields.
Compare important pages with the DOCX in your word processor. If a layout cannot be reproduced satisfactorily here, use that application’s own PDF export instead.
Save PDF or continue with Word
PDF fixes the reviewed page layout for sending, printing or filing. Supported text can remain searchable, and supported links and form fields can remain interactive.
If further editing in a word processor is needed, save a new editable Word document instead. Supported text, pictures, forms and simple shapes can be exported as DOCX content; PDF-only effects may need to be removed.
Check the exported document
Open the downloaded file in another reader and inspect the pages flagged during import. Test links and form fields you need, and check that no text or image has been lost.
The source DOCX remains unchanged. Import, editing and export run in this browser, where a local recovery draft may remain until you clear or replace it.
